When Senators Kennedy and Hutchison file their cancer bill, it may be the most important federal cancer legislation of our time. And they will need your support to pass the bill in Congress.

The Kennedy-Hutchison proposal aims to reinvigorate the war on cancer and broaden the battle turf even further by increasing research; improving prevention and early detection; expanding access to screenings and care; addressing the distinctive needs of cancer survivors; creating incentives for more people to work in oncology; ensuring that new drugs and treatments move quickly from the laboratory to patients; and expanding access to clinical trials.
